Manu K Baker Sprints

ENTRY FEE: NOTE: Please pre-register all OC-1 & OC-6 events one week prior to race day and e-mail Brenda at brencf@comcast.net. Your lane assignments will be posted on race day at the official booth. OC-1 Open Women & Men only – New Open 4 Event.

RACE RULES:
1. All paddlers must have signed waivers on file with PNW-ORCA & USACK releasing the member club and the association of any liability. No paddler will be allowed to race until the waiver forms is on file. Waiver forms will be available on site. Also Event only forms will be $10.00 for non-members.
2. Kikaha O Ke Kai Manu K. Baker Regatta is sanctioned by PNW-ORCA & Insured by USACK. Race rules and regulations are in accordance with PNW-ORCA.
3. Race course will be 250/500 meter per PNW-ORCA and will consist of 8 lanes (9 lanes for 500 meters). 4. Age groups/categories and race distances are in accordance with PNW-ORCA. 5. Use/carrying of life vest will be in accordance with PNW-ORCA. 6. Events #-7, 8, 10, 11 & 16 must have an “open steersman” in accordance with PNW-ORCA.

AWARDS:
1. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 places in the following divisions – All Keiki, Juniors, Novice and OC-1 events.
2. Beautiful Handcrafted Trophies will be awarded for the top 3 clubs with the most points accumulated. (1st = 5 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 2 points, and 4th = 1 point)
Directions:
• From I-5 take exit #127 (SR 512/Puyallup) go east & follow the Puyallup/Mt. Rainier signs. Go east for 2 miles on SR 512. Take the second exit (Parkland/Spanaway). Turn right onto Pacific Avenue (SR 7). Travel approximately 3 miles and turn right on Old Military Rd (152nd St). Go 1/2 mile and entrance to the Park’s main gate is on the left.
